The past two weeks we have been watching the Olympic Trials on tv with the boys. Our favorite is swimming. Keaton and Carson have really enjoyed watching the races and Keaton has really taken an interest in wanting to learn all the different strokes that they do. When we have been swimming they will pretend they are the announcers and say, "Swimmers, take your mark!" "BEEP" It is quite hilarious. Anyway this week Carson said he wanted to be a "swimmer" like Keaton and decided he didn't need his lifejacket anymore. I was hesitant at first but wanted to encourage the self-confidence, but I was nervous because he cannot touch in any part of the pool except for the stairs. But after mom being right by his side the first few times, he got the hang of it like he had been doing it all along! Today he decided he needed to jump in and swim to the stairs and wanted me to tape him to show Grandma and Grandpa since they didn't get to see him swim when they were out here. So here he is guys! WAY TO GO CARSON!!!

Holy Moly Carson! You sure are a big boy now! I am so glad that mom video taped you jumping in and swimming all by yourself so that we could see you! And I am sure that you are helping him out as the big brother, Keaton!

Way to go, Carson! Adam loved watching the video - you have even inspired him...he's our little fish too. We go to the pool almost every day - it must be so much fun to have one in your back yard...we hope to swim in it next summer :)
