Last Saturday we decided we would take the boys up to Harborfest in Oswego to see the fireworks since we missed out on going to them over the 4th of July. Harborfest puts on one of the best fireworks displays I have ever seen. They shoot the fireworks right over Lake Ontario and even put them to music. It is pretty amazing. We went two summers ago with the Bauer's and the boys absolutely loved them. Unfortunately about a half an hour before they were about to start it started lightning. So Matt thought we should try to go to his office on campus to see if we could see them from there! Although there is a smokestack in the way of some of them, we were able to watch the majority of the show sitting in Matt's office. The loud sound you hear in the background is a fan that we had blowing on us since the air conditioning wasn't on and it was like 80 some degrees in there!
