Baptism cake..."Jesus Loves You Katie!!!"Cousins....Libby (9 days older) and Katie
On Sunday, June 28th we had Katie baptized at Nativity of Mary church in Bloominton, MN. This is the church that my family belonged to and is also the church that Matt and I were married in. It was wonderful that they allowed us to have Katie baptized there even though we are not current members of the church anymore. It was a private ceremony and Deacon McLaughlin was wonderful! Katie cried (screamed more like it) throughout most of the ceremony so that was a huge bummer but it was still a nice ceremony despite the fact she was bawling in my ear the whole time! :) After the baptism we had a nice picnic lunch at my brother's house. We had so much fun catching up with everyone and loved getting to know the newest member of our family....Cousin Libby who is 9 days older than Katie! I can tell already that they will be best of friends!!! :)
