(that's Keaton on the left in the black and Matt on the right...sorry so small..I need a zoom lens for my camera!!! Hint hint to Matt...my b'day is around the corner! :) )So Matt has been taking Keaton skiing several times this winter to a "learning" ski hill called Four Seasons. It is a perfect place for beginners to learn . They have what they call a "magic carpet" which is basically a conveyer belt that you step onto and it carries you up the hill. But Keaton has been getting pretty good at the bunny hill so he told dad that he wanted to go on the chair lift so they could go down the bigger hill today. Matt said he did great getting on the chairlift and once he had a taste of going down the bigger hill, there was no going back to the bunny hill! :) Watching Keaton ski today definitely brought back tons of memories for me! Skiing was always such a huge part of my life when I was growing up. Most of our family vacations were skiing vacations whether it was to Duluth, Telemark, Colorado, or Montana, we always had so much fun. I am hoping the boys will fall in love with this sport because it is something we all can do as a family for a very long time. Barb and Kevin....remember all of our ski trips to Afton when we were little? Then our stops at the Mexican resturant on the way home!!! :) Some of my fondest memories!

Forgot to tell you how excited Keaton on Monday after skiing! He chatted nonstop about it....He must really have a knack for it. Soon you'll have to take a trip to Colorado and ski some REAL hills :)
